Product Design and Development
Concept development, design and implementation for an instant camera for credit card sized photos based on Polaroid's newly developed design language for their consumer segment.
Winner Red Dot, IDEA Silver and Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Awards

Digital photography was in its infancy when this camera launched in 2002. We have come full circle. For me it is interesting to look back at this project today in the age of instagram and perfectly curated feeds. New apps like Dispo that celebrate spontaneity and unfiltered moments are bringing back a sense of Polaroid nostalgia.

... a fashionable update of Polaroid’s original instant cameras that could do for roadtrips and barhopping what the SX-70 once did for Thanksgiving dinners.
